Dent Education is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that promotes equity by empowering under-resourced youth to discover and develop their innate creative potential to shape the world around them. In short, we help Baltimore City teens build stuff, create & capture value, and make a dent.
Made@Dent is our marketplace for all things designed and made by Denters. When you buy at Made@Dent, not only are you getting high-quality products, but your directly supporting young makers and entrepreneurs.
Our team of coaches, volunteers, students, educators, and fellows are here to provide the support you need. We are proud to have assisted over 100 front line health workers stay safe and healthy as they navigate through this crisis. It's these success stories that motivate our team to provide the best product and service possible to make sure you do too.

Meet our team
Made@Dent is a social enterprise, co-owned and co-run by Baltimore youth and non-profit Dent Education, that builds to better lives.
We are young entrepreneurs channeling our creativity into designing and manufacturing products that meet our community’s ever-changing needs. Along the way, we are developing design thinking and business skills as we build a real venture.
We are not only a business, but a family that provides a brave community space for other youth. Although we aren’t (all!) related, we always support and look out for one another.
Made@Dent is a platform for Denters to build their talents and sell their own products and services on our website. Our Youth Co-Owners set an example for all youth to know that you can accomplish a great deal at an early age. There’s no need to wait, let’s make a dent!
